You will not need to complete the Continuous Enrollment Agreement again in the future.
Educational Goals
Muskegon Catholic Central is dedicated to educating students of all faiths in spirit, mind and body through offering a Catholic, Christ-centered environment for learning.
Admissions Criteria
AAdmission decisions are based on a thorough review of the student's current grades, evaluations from special support services, and an understanding of any attendance or behavioral challenges the student faced at their previous school. Students who require special support services will be evaluated on an individual basis, taking into consideration their unique needs and the school’s capacity to accommodate those needs. Admission may be denied if it is determined that the student is unlikely to meet the academic and behavioral expectations of Muskegon Catholic Central.
Students who were admitted with a previous academic, attendance, or behavioral issue from their last school may be placed on a performance plan, in addition to a trial period. This performance plan will be reviewed and signed by the admissions team, parents, and the student before the student's first day of school.
Muskegon Catholic Central welcomes students without regard to race, ethnic origin, sex, or disability unrelated to their ability to benefit from the educational opportunities, programs, and facilities provided by the school.
All students must adhere to the immunization and health laws required by the State of Michigan prior to admission.
Admissions Team
All admissions decisions are made by the MCC Admissions team, which includes the Director of Enrollment, the Head Principal, and the President of the school.
Terms of Admission
All transferring students admitted to Muskegon Catholic Central will be accepted on a trial basis for eight weeks or one quarter. During this trial period, if a student demonstrates consistently poor behavior, has a lack of attendance, or shows inattention to academics, a meeting will be held with the student, parents, and the admissions team. This meeting will determine whether the student can continue at the school successfully.
All accepted students are expected to participate in all instructional programs offered by the school. Parents are expected to support and cooperate with all educational and administrative policies of the school.
