Dear Crusader Families,

As summer winds down, our staff are preparing to welcome our Crusader families back for the 2026-2027 school year. August brings renewed anticipation as we prepare to once again fill our classrooms, hallways, athletic fields, and chapel with students who are Created with Purpose.

Those three words remind us of a profound truth: each of us has been intentionally created by God, gifted with unique talents, and called to reflect His love. At Muskegon Catholic Central, our mission extends beyond academic excellence. We strive to help every student discover and know they are loved by God.

When our students walk through our doors on Monday, August 24, they begin far more than another academic year—they begin another chapter of God's plan for their lives. Scripture reminds us, "For we are His handiwork, created in Christ Jesus for the good works that God has prepared in advance that we should live in them." (Ephesians 2:10)

This verse beautifully captures who we are as a Catholic school. Every child who enters Muskegon Catholic Central has been created intentionally by God with purpose. Each student has gifts to discover, talents to develop, and a vocation to discern.

Purpose is not discovered in isolation but cultivated within a community rooted in Christ. Through prayer, the Eucharist, meaningful relationships, academic excellence, service, athletics, the arts, and everyday moments, we help our students recognize God's presence and respond to His call.

Our hope this year is that every member of our community—students, parents, faculty, staff, alumni, and supporters—will continue to see Muskegon Catholic Central as more than a school. We are a family of faith where every person is known, valued, challenged, and loved as a beloved child of God.

Thank you for the privilege of partnering with you in the sacred ministry of Catholic education. We ask for the intercession of the Blessed Virgin Mary and all the saints as we begin another year of learning, serving, and growing together.

We look forward to welcoming our Crusader family back on Monday, August 24. Until then, may you always remember—and may our students always know—that they have been Created with Purpose.
