Muskegon Catholic Central is excited to announce the hiring of Nick Bronsema as the new Head Coach of the Varsity Girls Basketball program.

Coach Bronsema brings more than 20 years of coaching experience to the Crusaders program, having served at Mona Shores, Grand Rapids Catholic Central, Orchard View, and Hart. Throughout his coaching career, he has built a reputation for developing competitive teams, strong athletes, and successful programs.

Bronsema is a three-time BCAM Regional Coach of the Year, earning the honor twice while coaching at Orchard View and once at Hart. During the 2022-23 season, his Hart team completed an impressive 22-0 undefeated regular season campaign. He also coached the 2020 Orchard View team that featured Division 2 Player of the Year Ke’ontae Barnes.

Over the years, Bronsema has led his teams to numerous conference and district championships, consistently building programs centered on discipline, hard work, and teamwork.

“I’m excited to serve a community with a solid tradition of excellence,” said Bronsema.
