CHOIR

The MCC Choirs consist of 6th grade, Middle School Choir, and High School Chorale. In the Choir at MCC there is emphasis placed on proper vocal technique, sight-reading, music theory, and performance. Each Choral ensemble works on developing good singing tone through proper posture, breathing, vowels, diction, and musicality. Students in the choir program can expect to perform a wide variety of choral repertoire from classical choral works, to spirituals, to pop music.

7-12 CHOIR

The MCC choirs consist of Middle and High School students. Emphasis is placed on proper vocal techinique, sight-reading, music theory, and performance. Performances include fall, Christmas, winter, and Pops concerts, as well as off-campus local community and charity events. Our middle school choir has performed with the West Shore Symphony Orchestra. Our high school choir has performed in New York City and Chicago and had the great honor of singing for the Pope on a trip to the Vatican.

7-12 Mass CHOIR

We also offer the opportunity for our students to participate in our Middle and High school Mass Choir. These students volunteer to help sing during our weekly School Mass and during Praise and Worship Celebrations. The Mass Choir is its own class in which students get to focus on worshipping God using their talents in their voices and through the words they sing.
