Beginning in the fall of 2009, students in grades PK-12 at Muskegon Catholic Schools were united at the Laketon Avenue campus at the corner of Laketon and Barclay. The primary grades (PK-8) and our Small Blessings Child Care Center share one wing of the Laketon campus facility while high school students (9-12) enjoy a separate wing.
A beautiful playground that includes smaller equipment for our little climbers, larger equipment for our older kids, and lots of field space offers a terrific place for students to enjoy the fresh air and get regular exercise. Our campus includes a football field, soccer fields, practice fields, tennis courts, baseball and softball fields, two gymnasiums, a weight room, and an auditorium for our many extra-curricular activities. Weekly Masses for both the primary and secondary students are celebrated in the MCC Auditorium .
Campus safety is handled with great care. Exterior doors are locked during the school day, with a "buzz-in" system for visitors. Newly installed security cameras are located throughout the school, with high resolution recording capability. We have a closed campus, and visitors are required to sign in at the main entrances when they visit our schools.
